Bell's Iceman Cometh Challenge comes to 9&10 News Sunday at 2pm

On Sunday, December 2nd at 2 pm EST, television viewers in northern Michigan will get a chance to see what we experience every fall. 9&10 News will  repeat the special CBS Sports coverage of the Bell's Iceman Cometh Challenge, celebrating 29 editions of the race and offering a great look at the final kilometers for the Pro Men and Women's events.

This has been a project on our radar for nearly three years, and there's a lot of optimism on how this will highlight our cycling community, our region, and our sport to a much wider audience.

Tune in Sunday and use #icemantcmi to let us know where you're watching from. Once the show is over, it will be time to start training (and for us, planning!) for our 30th Anniversary Bell's Iceman Cometh Challenge in 2019!

The show didn't give the course any justice. The Pro riders made it look too easy. In the future they should show some of us fat guys climbing the hills, then maybe the public may have a better understanding of what we go through.

I tried to watch it as well, but wasn’t able to get it to work. I reached out to CBS all access this evening and got this response:

Thanks for contacting CBS All Access! We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. The Bell's Iceman Cometh Challenge aired on CBS Sports Network, which is separate from CBS All Access. The Bell's Iceman Cometh Challenge is not currently available on VOD on CBS All Access.

I’ve been looking all around online but can’t find a re broadcast.

But if you’re looking for a little more iceman entertainment you can check out the short iceman documentary we put together this year:

Great exposure for the race, but was very disappointed overall, to much time spent on the pro's and

advertising!  Plus, it was difficult getting to view it as listed in e-mail, time was changed from 1:00 to

4:00 which was a saver after all, because I had time to call DISH and change my programming pack

to view race because, streaming methods did NOT work as relayed by iceman e-mail.

I wasn't able to see the Iceman on CBSsports.com, on my Apple TV, smart phone, or computer. Bummer.
